So I met a really cool girl on OKcupid (and seemed to hit it off), and we were supposed to go to the beach for some ice cream and some skateboarding, but she calls and says she can't make it. In my mind its cool, so I go home and go about the rest of my day.

20 minutes ago, she text me that "We are incompatible: you seem too conservative." That came as a shock, because as a Nigerian American kid who identifies as Christian, but despises conventional Christianity and conservative politics in most ways (centrist), I got slightly pissed about it. We've only met once, when she happened to walk into the same store that I worked in (I recognized her, but not vice versa.) Should she really judge me without even going on a proper date? I feel like im bordering on mansplaining (Jezebel term), but is it wrong to ask for a chance to prove to her that I'm not a shill or fake? Is all of this drama honestly worth it? I understand, and tennis is fun, I just never expected to get so tired from it when I tried it for the first time. What kind of training do you need to do to stay fit for the sport?

As far as physical training, it's mainly footwork. Kind of like the football drills people do for footwork. Some strength training as well. Then there's obviously the hitting practice to keep the shots sharp. Practice matches are also important.
